It is 7/16” long (11 mm) and made of steatite, an easy-to-carve stone that hardens when heated. A large two-colored Egyptian eye of Horus amulet. Made of turquoise glazed composite, the pupil and eyebrows accentuated in dark brown. Dating c. to the 22nd to 25th Dynasties, 946 - 657 B.C. Condition: traces of age. Dimension: c. 3.3 cm long, 2 cm high, 0.5 cm thick.

An eastern mediterranean core – formed glass amphoriskos

Core-formed opaque blue Amphoriskos with yellow and white trail wound spirally around rim and neck, under the shoulder both trails are combed into a feather pattern. The knob at the bottom and the handles are made of greenish clear glass.
