A finely made and substantial glass flask, Roman Emperial, 1st.-3rd. century AD.
In green glass with a wide folded mouth and slightly curving walls.

A lovely early Imperial pottery lamp in redish terracotta with makers name on the back and probably from a central Roman workshop.
Depicting a high relief Crescent moon and a star on the discus. Letters on the back reads IVN C and something.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this quality bronze surgical instrument. The instrument was used as a probe and one end is grooved, which may have been used to hold sutures. There is a nice banded groove design toward the end and the bronze instrument has a lovely ancient olive patina. The instrument itself measures 6 5/8" in length. This comes beautify and professionally framed with a description plaque on the front. The frame size measures 11.25" x 9.25". Roman, Ca. 100 A.D.
Early Roman Imperial Period silver mirror, ca. 1st to 2nd. century BC
Wonderful mirrow either solid silver or a very thick silver plating - we think it's solid silver with some cuprite oxidation on the surface. A very interesting piece and quite attractive!

Ancient Roman, circa. 1st - 3rd century A.D. Bronze bust of Jupiter. Depicted from the shoulders up, with well-defined facial details hair, eyes, thick beard and muscular neck and shoulders. Likely was part of a handle from a Roman vessel.

CONDITION: Signs of usage and wear with nice olive-green glossy patina.

Broad redware dish rim fragment depicting a very fine and detailed shrub with berries. The relief decoration was taken from a separate mold and applied to the almost flat rim.
The fragment belongs to the rim of a large dish with a calculated diameter of ca. 39 cm (15.4 in). A groove runs along the outer edge.

Lot of three very nice bronze antiquities, incl. a dress pin with knobbed head, probably celtic, 3rd. cent. BC, a finely made large amulet of a Bullae in bronze with a loop, and a small intact amulet with a loop depicting Fortuna, both Roman 1st.-3rd. century
Size: 9 cm. for the dress pin, 5,3 cm. for the Bullae and 25 mm. for Fortuna.
Condition: EF, all intact with fine patinas.

The piece could look like an animal ear, but is probably from folds on a toga. A nice and inexpensive Roman sculptural art in marble.

A very nice lot of stringed glass bead and bird-amulets etc. also in coloured glass, including a perfect condition, Roman miniature glass jug with handle and openwork design, c. 1st.-4th. century AD.
Size: c. 40 cm. of beads and amulets in a single row, the jug is c. 21-22 mm. tall.
