A lovely extra large stamp seal Bifacial figural type in black steatite or chlorite, c. 4th. millenium BC.

The seal was reportedly found at 'Amúg Ebene' in ancient North-Western Mesopotamia, present day Turkey, close to the ancient city of Antioch.

The seal is disc-shaped and carved with a fierce predator, probably a Lion, on one side and with a Deer standing by a stylized tree and pierced from above with a long spear.

An attractive Assyrian black serpentine cylinder seal of a large size, carved with a Deity in front of a prancing horse or Unicorn, many symbols in the fields, Mesopotamia, Neo-Assyrian period, 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

Height: 31 mm, and diameter is c. 10 mm.

Condition: Nice Very fine and completely intact. Deposits and old clay in the devices so the imprint could surely be even better.

An attractive two-tone silex / flint axe of the unpolished type with small butt and a wide blade, Time of the Great Buriel mounts, c. later 4th. mill. BC.

Size: 23,8 cm. long and quite heavy, so this would probably have been an offer or ritual axe.

Condition: Good Very fine, tiny ding to the edge, othervise perfect and with a nice specled colour with calcification.
