Two very rare and large Canton enamel vases on the original wooden stands with lovely rich patina and bright well painted scenes of the Chinese goddess Chang'e. These quatrefoil vases enables the owner to change the scenes at will by merely turning the vase to a different panel. This is rare to find in Chinese vases of the period. These date to the late 19th C. One of the stands are inscribed 'China' with a backwards 'N' to help authenticate period...

Chinese antique large lobed bowl, made of heavy copper and enameled with raised repouse design of flowers and scrolling vines on the outside and with lovely yellow enamel on the inside. The enamel work on the flowers is delicately done with lovely colors on a yellow ground to match the inside of the dish. A very beautiful cloisonne candy box, uniquely colored in both red and yellow; both symbolical of Chinese culture. The collar and shoulder are decorated with the highly stylized bat or ruyi cloud pattern, as well as the surrounding portion of the handle knob, along with floral and tendril foliage. Good condition, with a few tiny nicks, but hardly worth mentioning, save for accuracy sake. Original patina and antique charm well preserved, size 18 cm diameter or 7" and 6 cm or 2.5" high...

With an unusual European form, this oblong bowl with lid is decorated overall with a flower and butterfly design in shaded enamels on a white ground with an ultra marine blue secondary ground, as a banding around the lid and as a surround for the two flower cartouches on the bowl's exterior. A small turquoise band encircles the base of the bowl which rests on a flared foot. The interiors of both the lid and bowl are covered in a speckled, medium green enamel...
