This unusual Chinese export enamel and silver filigree Foo dog is 5 ¾” high (with base is 7” high), 4” wide and 2” thick. The Foo dog sits on a globe with its mouth open. Three small coral and turquoise pieces are missing from his head. Most of lacquer finish on the wood base has worn off. Otherwise, it is in fairly good condition.

Antique Chinese charming hat finial, made of pierced repouse silver and enamel, carved jade disk near base, inset with coral and turquoise, large round agate bead in center, topped with a playful lion with movable ears, the underside of the finial is made of pierced and incised silver with a design of monkeys and bats, 19th/20th century.

The images do not show that, but the full beauty of the small ornaments on this very small tray ( 11 cm. X 12,5 cm. ) you only can regard with a magnifying glass.
But not just the execution of the ornaments is outstanding, please regard alone the face of this young woman in the center of the piece...

The central copper section is engraved with three archaic style Taotie masks. This item was made in China during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Beautiful Chinese cloisonné tripod censor decorated in beautiful colors with motifs of lotus, scrolling vines, chrysanthemums, and archaic chinese elements. With a gilt bronze fu dog on the top cover and three elephants as the censor legs. Slightly worn gold gilt over bronze is constant with age. Age: 18th/19th century. Size: Height 7.75" Diameter 5.25"
A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. This item was probably made circa 1900, during the latter years of the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there are spots and blemishes to the enamel on the cover and there are losses to the enamel on the sides. 4.1cm (1.6 inches) long; 3.1cm (1.25 inches) wide; 1.4cm (0.55 inches) high...
