Beautiful pair of white and green Peking glass vases from circa 1900. Peking glass is chinese overlay glass that has been carved. Traditional Chinese water scene with ducks, swooping birds, and lotus flowers in green on white ground. Measures 10" high 3" diameter at base. Previously used as a pair of lamps. Late 19th/ early 20th century.

Belt hook, or fibula, made of glass, with a finely detailed decoration in relief, largely influenced by the Warring States Period style, and representing, from top to bottom, first a large dragon head, then two chimeras side by side, then, at the end, a large tiger head. Nicely incised knob at the back. China, Qing Dynasty, 18th century, maybe earlier. Length: 19.8 cm. Remnants of soil encrustations. Very good condition. A very rare object.

1800s

This is a pair of glass bowls with saucers that are of a deep, even amethyst tone with high translucency. The pieces are molded, then turned, having highly polished interiors. The two bowls have well-carved pronounced footrings. The backs of the saucers retain the mold shapes, but with a glossy polish.

Saucers: Diameter: 5 ¾ in.

Chinese deep blue peking glass jar with carvings of chimeras crawling along the outside with branches in their mouths, over a crosshatch style background. The lid also has a miniature chimera amidst crosshatch background with a flower shaped finial. Artist's signature on the bottom. Size: 5.5" height, 4" width

Two strands of colorful and quirky glass bangle fragments drilled and reworked into beads. These are Persia, circa 6th CE - 7th CE which would make them late Sassanian Empire or early Islamic Era. L: 54cm/21.2in and 59cm/23.2in. See last enlargement for scale. Please note the tiny beads at the end are a combination of ancient Indo Pacific and Pyu glass beads. Skillfully painted on the interior with a scene of a mountainous landscape with waterfalls and scholars’ residences, loosely in the manner of the late Ming/early Ching artist, Wang Jian.

The transparent glass is slightly grayish in tone and the vase’s interior has been evenly ground to create a frosted background to the painting. The artist was probably a professional snuff bottle painter.

Antique Chinese yellow-orange peking glass bottle of a gourd form. One of its sides is painted with a robed scholar sitting besides a bird's cage over enamel picture. The other side is painted with a man pulling a carriage for a beautiful woman and a young boy. Above this scene are some illegible markings in Chinese. Perfect condition circa 1920's Size: 4" height, 2.5" width

Quirky glass ring emulating agate. This piece came from China but possibly is a trade object. I acquired this in a lot of other ancient pieces. A conservative dating to this is Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and guarantees it to this period. There is one crack as well as some bubble burst pitting on the surface. Outer D: 2.8cm and inner D: 1.9cm.

1900's Chinese Rock Crystal Carved Foo Dog Lion on Wood Stand

It is 3.1 inches (8 cm) tall 3.7 inches (9.3 cm) wide measured with stand and 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) tall by 3.3 inches (8.5 cm) wide measured without stand. The rock crystal bird is 188.6 gram.

The rock crystal has and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

19th century Chinese Peking glass bangle bracelet of classical shape made out of opaque white glass with green and pink/red splashes imitating jadeite. Nice colors, occasional bubbles inside the material typical for the period. Beautiful patina and slight wear to the surface, overall in excellent condition. Inner diameter 72 mm (2 13/16 inches), outer diameter 3 7/16 inches. Part of a small Massachusetts collection of Peking glass.
