A small Chinese brass handwarmer with pierced lid and carrying handle. The lid has many vent holes, some of which are shaped like stars. and these organize the round holes into what looks like many plum blossoms. The warmer measures 3 1/4' high (5 1/2" high with handle up) x 5" in diameter, and dates to the late 19th Century. There is a Chinese character chiseled on the base which translate to "to set on fire"...

A very late Qing Dynasty bronze bowl with deeply carved images of warriors, waves, a fish, a snail, and a shell. An intricate key fret border finishes off this Ming Dynasty style bowl. It is heavy and dates early 20th century, circa 1910. Measures 10 inches in diameter by 4.5 inches high.
