The flaring top rim and base have brown incised bands that are characteristic of brown etched wares produced between 1880 and 1920. Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain deep dish decorated in underglaze blue on a white ground with a central roundel painted in the ‘Master of the Rocks’ style with a figure in a landscape scene with mountains in the background and traditional buildings at the right side. The back wall is decorated with four foliage sprays. Chinese Song dynasty five-petal foliate form bowl covered in a pale creamy-celadon qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops above the unglazed flat base. The glaze is thicker and more of a celadon color where is drips down from the top edge into the interior. Circa 13th century. 6” diameter x 1 7/8” high. Good overall condition. Chinese late Qing dynasty bombe form porcelain censer on three high tripod legs covered overall in a thick sang de boeuf (oxblood) flambe glaze with purple accents that coats the interior and drips down to an unglazed section at the bottom that has burnt orange.
