A very well carved and inscribed wooden tablet made for use in the family house, on the ancestor´s altar for worshipping of the deceased husband . This â€spirit tablet†has the name of the man, Chun Fa from Lin Prefecture , and the name of the donor, the respectful wife Niang, born Song. In the inside it says that Chun Fa was born in the cyclical year of XianFeng, eleventh month, ninth day =1850, lived forty two years and died in the cyclical year of Guangxu 1891...

Small statue of Buddha, in monk's robes, sitting cross-legged on an elevated lotus throne, holding a bowl in his left hand, his right hand in protecting and blessing posture (abhaya mudra). The statue was cast in the style of the Liao dynasty Buddha images. Bronze, with fine age patina. Qing Dynasty, 18th century. Slight abrasion due to age, otherwise very good condition.
