A pair of silk applique roundels for a robe, lavishly embroidered in satin stitch, tiny Peking knot and couched gold wrapped thread. One showing two boys at play, the other one depicting the immortal He Xiangu with attendant in a boat amidst flowers and auspicious symbols. It is 46.85 inches (119 cm) in length by 39 inches (100 cm) wide on the top. It weighs 1.4 lb.

Large Chinese embroidered silk badge of a three toed dragon. The 3-toed dragon is the symbol of government ministers and public officials. This piece could have been from a wall hanging or off of a room screen. Color of badge is even; glare from the glass is making it look darker or lighter in areas. This badge measures 20.5" high and was placed on a cream colored closely cropped brushed velvet material, then framed. Framed measurements are: 26.5" wide x 33" high.

Beautiful Chinese antique court lady's skirt, made all of different colored silk, all folded and sewn into tiny pleats, edges embroidered with scenes of birds and flowers, two larger panels have applied rectangles of silk minutely embroidered with birds and tiny bats and a design in gold thread. circa 1900. Size (when spread out): 74" wide x 37" high (skirt length).

This is a late Qing dynasty pufu or surcoat with a rank badge. The pufu is make of silk gauze or kesi for the summer and a heavier satin-silk, sometimes lined with fur, for the winter. The rank badge with the embroidered silvery pheasant is that of a fifth grade or rank of the civil official. It is represented as standing on the pedestal rock facing and looking towards the sun, the imperial symbol of authority...
