Presented is a large Jardiniere (1 of 2 offered) of a rustic but well known and designed theme of a dragon, phoenix, rooster, and peony. This is a fine, flattened, rounded rectangular form tapering toward the base, with a wide mouth of slightly opaque glass, above a short waited neck, all raised atop a conforming foot ring. The main body decorated with overlay of transparent red glass over clear glass carved with a decoration of a bat hovering above a rock and waves. The reversed showing another bat above a pine tree and rocks. The sides flanked by masks and faux-ring handles...

Although it is smaller than other examples of this genre, this tea caddy packs a big punch with its gorgeous blue and white hand painted Chinese scenery. It depicts both natural scenery as well as different structures such as home and pagoda. The rim of the shoulder is accented with pale gold enamel.

Wonderful pair of Ming Dynasty ceramic joss stick holders in the form of guardian lions in rich turquoise glaze on brown pedestals. Measure 6 3/4" high, 5 3/4" wide, and 2 1/2" deep. Figures are of buff colored clay, are hollow with hole in top for holding sticks. The turquoise glaze is somewhat mottled over the surface, deeper in color in some areas, and having a greenish hue in other areas, while the raised areas show the color of the underlying clay...
