Exquisite antique silver necklace, circa 19th century. Each tiny bead is hand folded into a geometrical shape, some of them still have traces of gold wash I doubt if this kind of craftsmanship can be done today. A solid cast gilt bronze dating to no later than the 17th century. The piece consists of the upper five heads of a standing Avalokitesvara. Mounted on a custom stand, the piece itself measures 4-1/4" in height. The quality of the casting is first-rate; remains of gilding, as shown in the photos.
