An antique Japanese Ikebana bamboo basket in a cylindrical form mimicking a Gourd. It was woven in a vertical stitch pattern juxtapose a visually lesser diagonal weave. The artist used the thin and medium bamboo strips to contrast and undulate texture and movement within the basket. The base forms a hexagonal circle with a six point star pattern at the bottom.

This is Fukusa used in Kyoto for Edo period. It is very beautiful fukusa.This has a line of delicate Tsutsugaki and embroidery and a delicate sumi painting. This is produced by a bold design.
This has a few stains, but does not stand out.However, there is no damage.They are not disturbing, and as a whole it is in very good condition.

Japanese indigo cotton fireman's coat, with sashiko stitching and freehand paste resist decoration (tsutsugaki) of a cherry blossom, overlapping rings and striations. The front of the coat has four kanji characters on the lapel, and the inside of the coat is resist dyed with geometric designs and a round central emblem.

This is Patchwork silk yosegire child kimono textile in Edo period(1800-1867).This yosegire kimono is a patchwork of natural safflower dyed shibori, shikon dyed katazome, and indigo dyed kaiki-silk.All are originals from the Edo period. The lining is red silk, and the stains on the outer material are due to the red silk. There are slight stains and damage. Recommended for collection. A lovely Unusual picture frame made with Japanese cloisonne imagery of white chrysanthemums and cascading leaves in gradient shades of green upon a muted yellow/beige background. Gorgeous hardwood has been used for the backing piece, with an old English style carved stand with chain, and an interior plaque that may be engraved. The frame is lined in silver. A real Treasure.
