Japanese Imari Porcelain Hibachi, 9" high, 10 1/4" diameter-outside maximum measurement, later part of 1800's, with repeated vertical indented grooves on entire body with four(4) separate cartouche filled with floral decoration, underglaze blue and overglaze dark orange or reddish color decoration, highlighted in gold. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.

A Chinese blue and white dish decorated with "fire Dragon" and other motifs. This dish was from Dehua Kiln. Kangxi period. Excellent condition - no flaw through out except normal wear and small fire cracks. Diameter: 8-1/4".

This is a very finely crafted Japanese's silver dragon with a "crystal pearl"...

Carved from animal horn this eyeglass case dates to the Qing Dynasty. What appears to be the original cord allows the case to be hung on a belt...The original toggle was replaced sometime (probably in the 50's) with current blue toggle...

A Chinese blue and white porcelain dish decorated with flowers. Hongzhi to Zhengde period (mid 15th to early 16th century). Condition: chips and glaze-chips at two locations of the rim as shown on photos; two 1 mm and one 2 mm glaze flakes on other location of the rim. No other flaws other than these. Diameter: 11"; height: 2-1/4".

A Chinese scholar's book box with zitan wood on the top and bottom, and tieli wood as the walls of the box. Qing Dynasty. Condition: age cracks; most of the hardware is missing; repair at the bottom of one end. Please refer to enlargements for condition details. Dimensions: 14-1/4"L X 7-1/2"W X 6"H.

A nice example of Guangdong Xicun wares large bowl, decorated with freely drawn brushed iron-black reverse on celadon glaze. Song dynasty 12th-13th century. Condition with a crack on 12 o'clock of first enlargement about 3.5cm, otherwise is good condition without any restoration. Found at Sumatera. Diameter: 23.5cm.

A rare of black brownish glazed tea bowl, decorated with brownish spurs to interior. Southern Song dynasty, possibly Henan wares. Founded excavated at Sulawesi. Condition is perfect except minor firing imperfection to a bit glaze shrinks. Diameter: 11.5cm and High: 7cm.

DESCRIPTION: A large Japanese Sumida vase with three children in high relief playing on a bridge against the red ribbed body. The neck rim is covered in a rich, thick flambé glaze that runs down the shoulders onto the traditional, cold painted body. This vase is in excellent condition with no chips and very little rubbing...

A good Korean Koryo dynasty 13th/14th century celadon bowl, decorated with inlaid white and black of Chrysanthemum medallions to exterior among classic scrolls, the interior with twin fish medallion within double circle and ruyi heads, surrounded by four twin fish medallions in cavetto wall. Condition is very good, except minor tiny flake chip to exterior rim, no crack an free from any restoration. Diameter: 12.8cm.

Used for repeated printing of an image onto paper, this carved wooden ink block has the image of Fu Lu Shou, the Chinese God of Longevity. Almost 6.5 x 10 inches...this inkblock makes a nice wall hanging

Very rare complete skull of an orang-outang, decorated with carved typical geometric designs and with the threatening face of a god or a genie on the forehead. The skull has kept its lower jaw which is attached to it with a sliced bamboo tie. The age patina is beautiful. Indonesia, Borneo Island, Dayak Peoples. Height: around 6 1/2" (about 16,5 cm). Antique Japanese Bizen ware figure of Tanuki, he is dressed as a monk, a jar for drinking hangs from one arm, in the other hand he holds his ledger book. Very charming expression and lovely detail.

'Remote Landscape' by Tanomura Chokunyu (1814~1907)

Chokunyu was the step son of Tanomura Chikuden and he studied Chikuden's work. Chokunyu started to learn from Chikuden when he was 9 years old, and Chikuden found his talent and adopted him. Chokunyu learned Confucianism from Tsunoda Kyuka and Chinese poetry from Hirose Gyokuso. He also learned and got skills of Omotesenke Tea Ceremony, Kodo (Japanese art of appreciating incence) and Kenjutsu (the art of the sword)...

Chinese antique box, carved of a beautiful golden hardwood, very heavy. Small cabinet doors open to a compartment with a small open area in the center and two rows of 3 drawers each on either side. It is carved on all sides with scrolling vines and bats. The front is minutely carved and has inlay of green and very pale green and white jade including more little bats. Republic Period (early 20th century). Size: 11" high x 16 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" deep.

Japanese Imari Porcelain Black Ship and Namban design Bowl and Cover, 3 1/4" high & 5 1/8" diameter-with cover, 2 1/4" high & 4 3/4" diameter-bowl, later part of 1800's Meiji period, with overglaze decoration of six(6) Dutchmen and black ship in iron red background, highlighted in gold. Underglaze blue decoration of diaper pattern borders inside the bowl and under the lid, floral decoration on the bottom and the cover. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.

Chinese green glazed Pottery hexagonal shape small condiment covered jar with unglazed top, 3 3/4" high with cover, 4 1/4" wide-widest part, early part of 1900's. Low relief floral decoration on each panel on the side of the jar, and they forgot to glaze the cover with same green color. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.

Chinese green glazed noodle making bowl, 5" high-maximum height, 8" diameter-top, green glazed, early part of 1900's. This is the bowl making home made noodle in the kitchen. Push the dough into the holes, and become instant noodle coming out of the holes. Incised Chinese Character mark on the bottom "Great". No major damages, there are some wear and tear from the use in the kitchen for many years.
