Late Ming Early Qing Dynasty Chinese Blanc de Chine (Dehua) Porcelain Tripod Censer The elegant cylindrical body is encircled by four sets of raised double bow-string bands. The censer is supported on three carved floral-shaped feet, and is gently covered overall with a blanc-de-chine glaze with an exception of the interior and base unglazed. Size: 8.1 cm tall, 12.4 cm long, 11.5 cm wide. Condition: Excellent.

The idea of a Fukusa gift cover comes from the old Japanese tradition of gift presentation. Fukusa began to be decorative as well as practical in the Edo period (1600 to 1868). The appropriate design was chosen for the occasion; for seasonal, ceremonial and later, time of grief when Japan started to face battles again, with the foreign countries this time...

Finely cast unusual statue of Hindu god Kartikeya, wearing jewels and a loincloth, standing on a stylised lotus.The right hand of this statue is poised as if holding a staff and the left hand rests on his thigh. He is seen as a mendicant with just a loincloth on. This form of Kartikeya is also called Dandayudhapani (the one who holds staff in hand).Bronze, with nice age patina. India, early 19th century, maybe earlier. Height: 19.3 cm. Very good condition...

A fine and rare Yuan dynasty blue and white square jar, jar decorated with under glaze blue of rare moon and cloud motif at two side and chrysanthemum flower motif and the other two sides. at the top there is two small lugs in rare shape of young dragon motif, unglazed base.
Jar is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.
Size: 6 cm diameter, 5.5 cm height.

Ancient mask, beautifully carved in heavy wood, with realistic features, representing the face of a snarling tiger. Wood, with remnants of the handpainted polychrome decoration. India, Gujarat or Maharashtra, Kukana tribes, early 20th century. Height: 27 cm. The mask is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Old accident at lower jaw, very well restored locally. Acquired in 1974.

Qing dynasty Dehua white glaze blanc de chine deity Arhat seated on Qilin, good condition with touch up at the left arm and qilin tail, please see picture for detail size: 21 cm height, 19 cm diameter from head to tail.

This Hongshan jade circle amulet/pendant/tailsman/ring is from Northeastern China and is 1 5/8" long and 5/16" wide. Size 10 ring. The surface has been cleaned by buffing from a modern finder to accent the quality of the material which removed some of the original surface and left machine buffing marks, but it is an authentic, high quality piece. The jade is translucent and the carving was very difficult to achieve. It has wonderful patina. It dates to 6700BP-4900BP...

Japanese antique Zuishin dolls (Ningyo). This set of dolls are often called Daijin minister dolls but they are actually the imperial guardsmen and escorts for the Heian court (794-1185). A beautiful quality set in the perfect size to decorate Hina Goten (Imperial Palace). Meiji Period (1868-1912). Approx. 5” tall, 4 ½” in width.

A genuine antique 2 TICAL Bronze Opium Weight of Mythical Chinthe Lion, 18th Century (1767-1785), Burma, with 4-rayed star emblem (asterisk) on octagon base. Excellent condition, 32.7 gr. with natural patina.

Rare Chinese deep powder blue porcelain censer; Kangxi Period; the rounded sides tapering elegantly inwards to form the rim; at the base there are three rounded feet to reflect the traditional tripod censer; minor surface scratches; good condition

Very old and important grotesque mask, with an accentuated grinning expression. Wood, traces of black pigments. Himalayan Region, Arunachal Pradesh, Monpa Sherdukpen Peoples, 18th century, probably earlier. Height: 11 1/8" (28 cm). The mask is mounted on a custom wood stand. Strong erosion, old insect infestation (no danger), otherwise good condition. Provenance: old American collection.

An iconic work with dynamic floral pattern in pale white on pink by Kiyomizu Rokubei V enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Taireiji Ichirinsashi. It is 19.5 cm (7-3/4 inches) tall and in excellent condition. The vase retains the original wood stand and stamped cloth pouch. Undeniably Taireiji was the most important development by this innovative artist, and pieces are exceedingly rare...

This antique carved wooden temple Buddha retains much of his original gilded paint. He sits on a tall base covered with the old Mon Khmer script which had been formed by scratching through the golden paint. The Buddha's head is topped with a stupa-shaped "flame" called usnisa, which symbolizes the realization of Nirvana. Perhaps that explains the soft smile and meditative expression on his face...
