A beautifully rendered statue of Lu Xing, the Chinese God of Wealth and one of the 3 Star Gods. Richly painted in bright floral patterns and scrolling tendrils, it is in excellent condition. There are hole piercings in the ears and nose areas of Lu, and ear piercings in the child. C The sculpture measures 17" or 43.17 cm high and dates to the late Qing. Circa 1900. Marked on bottom.

Very fine large Meiji Era Japanese porcelain bowl with a delicately painted floral motif accented with gold gilt highlights. The side of the bowl features cranes in various flying poses. There is an old staple and gold repair at the rim. Looking into the bowl it is not visible unless you are seriously looking for it. See last 2 photos. Bowl rings nicely. Signed on the bottom, this is a very large bowl measuring 12.5 inches across by 3.75" high.

1909's Japanese Nippon Porcelain Coralene Fully Beaded Bowl with Louts Flowers Marked

It is 4.72 inches (12 cm) tall by 7.28 inches (18.5 cm) wide. It weighs 1.7 lb.

It has a hairline crack at the lip and a small chip close to it. There are several small spots of missing coralene beads. It also has surface wears, rubbing of gold, and yellowing at the bowl's interior (as seen in the photos).

A beautiful Kangxi style famille verte(susancai)eight lobes dish with flowers, bird and butterfly decorations. Kangxi mark but made in the 19th Century. An unusual pair of hand embroidered Chinese silk pouches with auspicious symbols. The color contrast is stunning, each has its original silk tassels. These pouches also have their original drawstrings yet intact. These pouches may have been used for eyeglasses and /or general use. Antique Japanese beige ceramic crackleware satsuma pilgrim vase, Meiji period 1868-1912. It is beautifully painted with two different scenes. The front and reverse are painted with a wheat plant in a field of chrysanthemums. The sides have cherry blossoms blooming in a stylized wave pattern. The mouth of the vase is square shaped, the base is rectangular. It measures 10" tall, 7.25" widest 2" deep.

This old pair of Chinese shoes were made for a small child. Appliqued onto the red cotton background fabric are bits of trim and cotton fabric which give the appearance of a cats face. Gold thread is used in a couching embroidery stitch for the design on the both sides of each shoe.
