Gorgeous Japanese Meiji Period Tetsubin. Mushroom shaped with a canopy of a bamboo riveted back drop with flower, leaf and bird ornamentation. Wonderful detail, lid has a small bird on top for nob, as well as a bird on back of handle. Short spout. Tall, sturdy handle.

A rare and beautiful kiri (paulownia) wood tansu from the Matsumoto region of Japan. The tone and texture of the wood grain pairs nicely with the elaborate iron hardware. Its drawers pull open with sturdy iron "mokko" melon style handles with large incised backplates. Two drawers towards the bottom of the piece secure into place with a short locking bar. The drawer interiors are been lined with old rice paper. All original finish and hardware and in excellent condition...

Rare Chinese Yixing teapot for southeast asian market. Size 23 cm wide. 9,5 cm high. Conditions: Small chipped at inside the lid and very short lines at the rim ( Almost can't see it with eyes) Free from any repair.
This is a rare Yabu Meizan Censer. It is not decorated with gold details and painting but is still an attractive item with its rich turquoise colored glaze. The first and second images show how it appears under normal lighting. It probably does not have the original cover but this silver one is more functional than the ivory covers we have seen. The silver lids fit perfect.
Antique Japanese Nabeshima ware bowl, with cobalt blue design of waves and an array of scholar objects in mint green, lilac, yellow, and red glaze. Edges are decorated with "comb" design along foot. This is a beautiful Japanese cloisonne Vase from the 1920's. It was created with a profusion skilled of work. It was made by Hayashi or Ando. It stands 9 3/4 inches tall and is 4 3/4 wide. Rims are silver and stamped. Bottom rim a tiny indentation in the silver but this vase is in outstanding condition.
Antique Japanese small haribako (sewing box). Made with 5 small drawers of various sizes. A hinged lid on top flips up to reveal a tray for storing a pin cushion and sewing supplies. This pulls out to reveal a secret hidden drawer behind it. To the right of this is a flip up holder for the third hand clip. Wood Carved Lotus Theme Footed Stand, circa 1920's
It is 5.62 inches (14.3cm) tall by 3.25 inches (8.3 cm) wide. The top is measure 2.8 inches (7 cm) in diameter. The circle at the top is measure 1.4 inches (3.75 cm) in diameter. The channel in between is 0.65 inch (1.5 cm) wide.

Pair of dramatic Japanese large bronze candlesticks. Each candlestick depicts strolling vines with blossoming flowers on all sides. Small detail are seen down to each petal. The bronze nail head is in great condition and could easily support large candles an be used once again.

A beautifully cast bronze dragon waterspout from an ancient Japanese garden in Nara prefecture made to rise over the edge of a water basin, the water trickling out through his mouth. It retains the original bronze pipe and connector, overall, in excellent original condition. The dragon itself is roughly 25 x 13 x 20 cm tall (10 x 5 x 8 inches) and weighs 3.9 kg (8.5 pounds). Including the pipe roughly 50 cm long.
This ivory carving of the goddess of mercy, Guan-Yin, is an early 20th century product. It depicts Guan-Yin holding a pearl in one hand and a vase in the other. There is a tiny sitting Buddha in her hair. It is 9” high (with fitted hard wood base it is 10” high), 2 ½” wide and 1 1/8” thick. The carving is superb and it is in excellent condition.
