This G-10+ Columbia River Eastgate Gem Point is undeniably one of the best ever found. It was found in Sherman County, Oregon. It is made out of translucent honey colored agatized petrified brunt palm wood which is heavily patinated. It is 1 3/4" long. There isn't a ding, flea bite or mistake made anywhere including the tip. There are no stacks or curves. The left side mirrors the right. You cannot tell the difference between side A and side B. This is true art and balanced perfection...

Of slender form, depicted mummiform, he is wearing the atef crown, fronted with an ureas, wearing the false beard and with hands emerging from tightly fitting garment. 2 3/4 inches/7 cm high. Small figurine representing Kuan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, in formal attire and wearing elaborate diadem and necklaces, sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne around which reclining lions are showing. Bronze, with dark reddish-green patina. China, Northern Wei or Sui Dynasty. Height: 2 3/4" (7 cm). Strong erosion due to great age, right hand partly chipped (old accident) otherwise good condition. An extremely rare object.
