A very nice blue and white cylindrical vase depicting the Hundred Antiques objects. The drawing is a general collection of emblematic form with representation of the eight treasures, vessels, flowers and some decorative designs. Late Qing dynasty cir late 19th century to early 20th century. The actual vases looks much nicer and glossy than the pictures.

Rectangular rounded netsuke manju, made of ivory and depicting the mighty Shoki with horn eyes. Shoki is a Japanese mythological figure, also known as the demon hunter, who symbolizes protection from evil forces. Antique Japanese large bronze vase in the form of a round lotus leaf. It sits on top of a smaller lotus leaf on a hexagonal base. Each side of the base has birds in relief flying over waves. Likely from a Buddhist temple. The lotus blooming from out of the mud represents enlightenment.

Earrings of a female figure with spiral decoration on the side of her head. Although deformed, the woman has full-body,well crafted down to chest and toes. The amphora can slide up and down. In good condition, but the body is slightly bent.

A large and very impressive Bronze model of a male lion cast in naturalistic style as is common for Japanese export bronzes from this period. Glass eyes. Marked with a seal: Kyomitsu zo: made by Kyomitsu. Meiji, late 19th cent. ca. 1890. L 56 cm, H 30 cm. Condition: Excellent.

A very finely cast statue of Bodhisattva Manjusri wearing diadem and formal attire, holding a book in his left hand, his right hand in argumentative posture. Manjusri is sitting cross-legged on an elevated lotus throne resting on the back of a stylized lion, itself standing on a rounded base. Bronze with dark-green patina. Traces of an original lacquering and gilding. China, early Ming Dynasty. Height: 6 1/4" (16 cm). Tiny part of diadem missing, otherwise very good condition.

This is a very fine early Japanese plique-a-jour bowl. The bowl measures 4 3/8 inches across and stands 2 1/4 inches tall. The bowl has two short lines in the yellow/red mums on the side that are hard to see. Look for them in the images. They can not be felt with a fingernail and are probably not all the way through. It is mounted with silver rims.

Chief god of the underworld. Of slender form, depicted mummiform, he is wearing the atef crown, fronted with an ureas, with prominent facial details, wearing the false beard and with hands emerging from tightly fitting garment, grasping the crook and flail. 5 7/8 inches high.
