An antique statue of the lucky god Zhang Guolao holding a fish drum, a Chinese percussion instrument. Carved from a large bamboo piece with nice patina. One of the eight immortals of the Chinese Taoist pantheon. Condition: sticks of the instrument lost, some short cracks and chips. Dimension: c. 34.6 cm high. Description: An oval shaped brush washer made of stone was originated from Tang or Liao Dynasty.
In chrysanthemum decoration around the rim, the basin was kept with original whitish patina and some incursions within the tissues of the stone.
Some defects can be found.

A bronze boy was well cast in solid way.
In lying posture, the boy was half-naked revealing his hips and penis.
It was believed from the unknown custom of the Sa-Man people of north-eastern China.
Nice and warm patina was kept when sandy-feel surface was left due to long time of age.
Adhesives were preserved in the crevices.
It can be a nice brush-rest by the lying shape.

As in a hidden look, the erotic motifs were only revealed when turning over the bronze plates.
They were well cast in solid form and were preserved in a latter-lade linen wood box.

Japanese large Imari Porcelain Punch Bowl, 4 1/2" high, 12" diameter-top, early 1920, with typical Imari colors of red, green and orange overglaze enamel on top of the underglaze blue, and highlighted in gold. Very delightful Japanese garden scene just outside the door or window in divided cartouches. There are some scratch marks on the bottom inside the bowl, no cracks, no restoration, no damage.
