Scene with intercessory goddess before God in ascending posture, male, crescent moon, fox, monkey, lion standard.

A finely carved late- to Neo-Assyrian black stone cylinder seal, depicting a winged matured bearded deity with helmet hunting a running animal in high relief, above is star and crescent, mid-to late Assyrian.

Size: 21-22 mm. tall and 10 mm. wide.

Condition: Good Very fine and glossy, very sharp imprint.

A very nice and quite interesting cylinder seal in a hard black stone with white inclusions on one side, Late-Assyrian to Neo-Assyrian period, c. 12th. cent.-9th. cent. AD.

A wonderful depiction of a 'Scorpioman' and a 'fishman', both depicted as winged matured men with long beards and pointy hats or helmets. Their lower bodies evolve into a fishtail and a scorpions tail. All within a heering pattern border.

Lithograph on black and white paper of a Lohan (Arhat). In the 9th century this portrait was painted, along with those of 15 other Ahrats, by the painter Guanxiu who was a Buddhist monk. 900 years later, in 1757, Emperor Kienlong during a visit to Shengyin Monastery in the former Hangzhou Province discovered the 16 portraits there...

An interesting and decorative Tibetan mixed metals dish, probably for a temple decoration, 19th/20th. cent.

The dish elaborately decorated with multible gemstones incl. corals, torquise, glass stones and filigree. Mounted with 4 small buddha figures. Hanger at the back and old note from the collector: ''This Plate En kript(?) was purchased by a Tibetan refugee in India in 1960.''

Two lidded jars with Qingbai and Jizhou glazes and terra cotta playing pieces. Not Song Dynasty but all hand made. The brown jar Jizhou jar has some discoloration. This white “stones” are 180 and there are 176 of the darker ones. D: 12cm/4.8in and H: 8cm/3.1in.

Chogappo made of fragments of choma (ramie), one of bast fibers, which is recycled from white and dyed ramie textiles. Pojagi is the general name for the wrapping cloth and "chogappo" is one kind of pojagi which is patchworked with asa (choma or hemp) fragments. (Reference source: "Korean Embroidery and Wrapping Cloths from the Choson Dynasty" published by Japan Art & Culture Association in 1995). Both warps and wefts are hand-plied for all fragments...

With silver in the midsection, mounted with coral and torquise, large silver folliage mounts on the top and bottom, bone suspension and a finely polished hardwood handle. Note also the silver lotus buc at the top. Guaranteed authentic old.

Finely crafted silver necklace with Gao box hanger in solid silver mounted with polished corals and toquise stones and centrally firegilt, Tibetan, 19th to early 20th. century.

Very pure silver and wearable today. Mounted in a long twisted silver necklace. Beautiful piece!

Size: 34-35 cm. in a double row, the Gao hanger is 6 x 5 cm. and rather thick. Weight: 48,5 grams, purity: sterling silver.

Eclectic collection of 11 ground slate stone “arrowheads” circa 3000 BCE-1900 BCE. The artifacts correspond to the Longshan Culture or a concurrent culture. See enlargements for scale and condition.

An unusually elaborate pottery figure of a female Attendant, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to late Ming periodc. 1550-1600 AD.

The lady is clad in a large thick robe, with an imposing hairdress and she is wearing a basket with red flowers and is standing on a round plint. She is glazed in torquise and dark blue colours.

Nicely painted facial details, careful thick glazing and a fine expression.

A very finely carved late- to Neo-Assyrian red stone cylinder seal, depicting a human headed, winged demon with Scorpios tail and a large Bull. In between them a tree and above star and crescent.

Interesting and beautiful composition, probably depicting Pazuzu. Beautiful jasper -like stone, quite hard.

Size: 25 mm. tall and 12 mm. wide.

Condition: Good Very fine, intact and sharp with minimal chip to the very rim, not affecting the depiction.
