Late 18th, Early 19th Century Edo Period Japanese Wood Horse Sculpture in a galloping pose. The horse still has a good amount of its original colors and gold gilt. It would have been offered as a gift to a Shinto shrine from someone with the means to afford more than the usual horse plaque, but not quite the means to afford to give a real horse to the shrine, a gift only the most wealthy could afford to give. This small Chinese traditional oil lamp is complete with the original hand-blown globe and cover. The base has several rows of ornate grillwork. The cover is engraved on one side with a couple. The other side has a poem. The chinese is old in both character and language and difficult to translate.
The lamp is only 5 inches tall and of higher silver content than usual for China at that time, which indicates an owner of wealth...

Large rare antique Japanese choba tansu (merchant's chest), from the Mikuni area of Japan, made of heavy solid keyaki (elm) wood throughout, wooden bracing on sides and back, large compartment with sliding panels has 4 smaller interior drawers, safe box has 2 small interior drawers, beautiful heavy iron work, has 3 keys, Edo Period.

Northern Song ( 11th - 12th century )
The lustrous and glossy black glaze on the fine white body of this extremely rare piece are characteristic of the finest " Ding " vessels developed in the Dingzhou kilns at Quyang, Ding county, Hebei province in the Northern Song period.

Condition : When examined with a 10X lense there is to see a very fine hairline to the body which is nearly invisible with the free eye, further in a perfect condiion.
A Very Fine and Rare 8 Panel Filial Piety Screen:
Korea, Choson Dynasty, 18th- early 19th Century.
This 8 panel screen of the filial piety is one of the most important Korean folk painting screens under Confucianism in Choson dynasty.
This screen was so delicately painted in ink and color with calligraphy each panel on paper, mounted on silk. It is in very fine condition. Measures: 36 3/4" H. x 12 7/8" W. each panel painting only, or entire screen approx. 59 1/2" H...
A very rare Yuan dynasty longquan celadon dish, rounded side, flattened rim with deep center and glazed foot ring, dish decorate with impressed flower motif at the center, at the inner wall there is molded weave or cloud motif, at the rim there is 12 unglazed biscuit fired brown of flower motif, glazed base with ring for firing.
Dish is in very good condition no damage, no chip, no crack, no restoration, dish has wrapped (unbalance) rim.
Size: 35 cm diameter.
Geyao cup in a very nice Song Dynasty inspired shape. Seventeenth century.
The brown clay to the base seems to be the original grey stoneware which turned to a dark brown during the firing process.
It seems not just to be a brown slip which covers the unglazed body to the base which would be typical for Qing pieces their intention it is to pretend a Song Dynasty piece.

Condition : One restored chip.
A really nice Ming Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Minyao ( peoplesware ) blue and white dish, decorated with 4 different kind of fishes among water plants at the outer side. The inner side decorated with a conch shell against a concentric wave pattern design, surrounded by a for Chenghua typical Lotus and other water plant decoration.
D : 12,9 cm.
Condition : On the inner side of the dish partly a slightly degraded glaze, and one old (easy to open) glue repair. No chip, no further crack.
