These extremely rare bone dice, from Kentucky, are 7/8" square. I purchased them directly from Tom Davis many years ago.

Mesa Verde b/w Large duck effigy pitcher ca. 1180 ad., it is approx: 6-1/2"long X 5-1/2"wide X 7-1/2"high, it is intact except for one shard is restored on rim, the handle and body is intact and original.

Mogollon/Tularosa ca. 1200 to 1300 ad, black on white pitcher with a double effigy handle (clay animal effigy handle with a human figure painted on it, all original) Tularosa is a time period of 100 years that was used by many different tribes from New Mexico to Arizona. Hohokam carved red basalt effigy big horn sheep ca. 650 ad. No Restoration, In as found condition with excellent ground deposits. The Hohokam seemed to use the red basalt for stone ceremonial effigies and objects but the red basalt was harder and rarer for them to find than the black basalt. This is a fine carved effigy of a big horn sheep which the Hohokam prized due to most likely how hard they were to hunt and kill. This petrified wood tang knife is from the four-corners area of the southwest. It is 3 1/4" long. It is from the Wallis-Thomas collection. The base of the tang has been snapped off anciently, but does not detract.

Rare Navajo Rocker Engraved Profile Spoon. Circa 1885-90. Totally rocker engraved, no stampwork. Interesting depiction of a Navajo man or woman in the bowl with hat and feathers. 5 1/2 inches in length. 1 1/8 x 1 1/4 inches bowl size. Incised file marks on the handle. A masterpiece of Navajo silversmithing.

A large and heavy carving in emerald of an Eagle Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century.

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts the head of a Native tribes leader, carved on both sides of the stone. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

Fine example of Woodlands Indian beadwork, in the form of a Glengarry cap, with heavy beading depicting flowers, foliage and geometric lines, with additional sewn thread embroidery, on velvet backing, heavy cloth interior, ca 1850. Measures 11 1/2" on each side of cap at bottom edge, 23" around, and is 4" deep, the top panel is 5" wide. Rare Kiowa belt with 10 German silver conchos on a harness leather strip with buckskin tie suspensions and rectangular cutouts on each end of the leather strip. Belt is 34" long x 3" wide. Conchos are 2 7/8" in diameter. One Concho has different design elements from the other 9. Most likely a man's belt. Circa 1900.
