A wonderful massive seal with fine engravings, 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

With the almost square seal plate and the type of handle this seal is the proto-type of the later Neo-Hittite seals, but this one much earlier. The base engraved with a large Deer with large Antler and on top, a smaller stag or horned animal, and a 3rd. animal in the corner, perhaps a hunting dog.

Highly interesting scaraboid seal of the earliest style and type we've seen, probably inspired by Egyptian scarab seals, Middle bronze age of the Levant, c. 2200-1600 BC.

The seal is very large and carved in a greenish black stone. Interestingly, there's remnants of the metal mount, probably a chain in iron or bronze (looks like iron!). The seal is carved with Capride with a bird above...

Attractive larger stamp seal of a particularly fine-corned blackish stone with lighter inclusions, North Mesopotamian, 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

It's beautiful shape is almost like a turtles shell and is highly polished and glossy. The base is engraved with an archaic style motif of two insect-like monsters fighting. Probably later Uruk period work.
