A large and beautiful Scandinavian style bronze Fibula decorated with knobs and profusely engraved, c. 8th.-9th. century AD.

Impressive piece of jevellery that comes out of a very old German collection.

Condition: Nice Very fine, missing iron needle and sound metal, mottled green patina.

Ancient Egyptian limestone head with thick wig and prominent facial details. With traces of original pigment. Possibly from the head on an ushabti. New Kingdom, 19th/20th Dynasty, 1292–1069 BC. 2 inches high. Mounted. Fragmentary. Ex. Oliva Tiano, Paris, said to be from an old French collection, collected in the 1960s - 1970s.

A rare type of iron key from box or cabinet very, European c. later 16th. century.

An interesting key with a disc shaped decoration on the bow and complicated stem and bit.

Condition: Near VF, some corrosion.

A rare large pottery figure of Thot as a Baboon Late-Ptolemaic period, 5th.-1st. century BC.

A mold-made votive figure of the god Thot, depicted here seated as a Baboon holding a round object and very detailed with remnants of pigments.

Interesting, large figures like this are usuaully only encountered in faiance or stone so a scarce late representation in terracotta.

Condition: Near very fine, intact but with hairline reattached feet and some minor losses and corrosion with much uncleaned deposits.
