A finely carved late- to Neo-Assyrian black stone cylinder seal, depicting running animal in a superb style and very high relief, above is star and crescent, mid-to late Assyrian.

Size: 25 mm. tall and 12 mm. wide.

Condition: Near extremely fine and glossy, the cracks in the imprint depicted, are not in the seal!

A very attractive and rare bluish glazed stone seal, Middle Assyrian, later 2nd. millenium BC.

The seal is carved with a detailed depiction of the King hunting a winged Griffin from behind with a bow, another hunter shooting from the front, Bird flying above and between them.

Size: 36 mm. tall and 13 mm. wide.

Condition: Good very fine, minor chipping to the glaze at the edge but intact!

A pair of strictly mueum quality German Wheel lock pistols, made for a German Prince for his personal guard, probably Saxony, late 16th. century.

The pistols are huge and at the same time very elegant with their slender form and lavishly inlaid with engraved staghorn compricing of of huntings scenes with dogs and game, and highly delicate folliage overall. Interestingly, there's different scenes of hunting on each pistol, while the folliage inlays are matching...

Rare seated figure with writing tablets folded open on the lap. The writing right hand rests on the tablet, which is held with the other. The small face with a prominent nose, the eyes and the mouth indistinct and originally painted. Curls frame the forehead and braids fall along the neck.
The figure wears a skin-tight tunic that might have been originally painted. The edge of a cloak covers the lower chest...

A lovely and extremely rare, large version of a Wheel-lock pistol in Noble quality, Germany, Augsburg, c. 1570-1580.

A really nice and detailed core style cylinder seal, of the Neo-Assyrian Empire, 9th.-7th. cent BC.

The seal depicts the king in a running 'Persian' stance, spearing an Ibex with a short spear or arrow, while holding a sicle-sword in the other hand. A quiver on his back and the star symbol of the Sungod over the Three Of Life.
