Early 20th century Gabbeh wide runner. All natural dyes about 6cm missing off the ends and one old repair. L: 262cm/103 and W: 103cm/40.5in. There is some simple Arabic script at the top, but I cannot translate it.

Bottle with a long stretched neck harmoniously twisted in the shape of a swan's neck. The glassmaker shaped his work with gadroons, a painter decorated it with golden flowers. This type of object was a teardrop intended to receive the tears of ladies when their husbands went to war. The almond shape of the edge adapts perfectly to the eye. These vases were made from the 18th century and throughout the 19th. especially in 1900. Copies are probably still made...

A very Handsome and Young BRONZE SCULPTURE OF AN ADOLESCENT, sculpture-volume after an Antique Model, mounted on a custom made stone base. Unknown 19th Century Artist. Size: H. 26 cm. x 15.5 cm. without the base. Weight: ~ 10 kgs. (~ 22 lbs.). Original was found in Marathon, Attiki in 1925 and dates 340-330 B.C. depicting a winner in an athletic event wearing a crown of victory; also called "Adolescent of Marathon".

Dating: Mid-19th Century Provenance: Ottoman Empire, Turkey Circular, convex, iron shield provided with four studs with star-shaped base; the surface decorated with silver floral and geometrical motifs. At the inside four suspension rings, two of them with leather handle. Dimensions: Diameter 34.5 cm. No condition issues.

Unusual 19th century Persian brass betel box with hinged cover and chiseled designs: the top with equestrian lion hunt, the bottom with a scene of a person with long scimitar slaying a man with several figures and a dog watching, the sides with friezes of various animals: lions, dogs and birds. The scenes must be a reference to some literary story...

Four pages of a Burmese astrology manuscript. Black ink text and various colours describing constellations shown by white dots, on yellow dyed thick paper. Reverse with text. Overall size 58x42cm. Undated, estimated to be 19th century or earlier. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.

Vase in the shape of a fish. Iron inlaid with gold and silver. Turquoise stone detail and red eye, either glass or ruby. On the reverse, a tie was soldered to the pewter later to be able to suspend it and thus make it a wall vase. But it seems to me that the object was simply made to be placed on a table. The silver inlays are very numerous, but oxidized in black, they have become almost invisible, however they are clearly distinguishable on the enlargements...

19th century Persian silver melon shape salt shaker with repousse branch on top surrounded by a band of small flowers, and with pendant drapery in every sector of the bottom part. Last quarter of 19th century, Qajar dynisty era, very well made, two parts fit snugly, in excellent vintage condition, nicely tarnished (can be cleaned with silver tarnish remover in a minute if needed). Hallmarked with 2 characters on the bottom. Diameter 2 inches, height 2 inches, weight 1.45 ounces (41 grams).

This is a 2nd Century Roman Glass, hand blown 2nd century AD. It is thick and heavy, unflawed, no chips or cracks, no hairlines,it has impressed squares on the body for about two third of the way down. Unguentaria used to hold poisonous, caustic oils or ointments and were never smooth sided, to prevent the Roman from grabbing the dangerous oil by mistake. It is certainly one of the earliest poison bottles ever made. Measurements: 4 inches tall and 2 1/4 wide at its widest point...

An Egyptian Gesso and wood Painted Horse Head possibly from an equestrian figure with a beautiful crackle patina and mineralised wood in areas. probably ancient. Collected in the late 19thc. Untested for age priced accordingly. Size H 8" D 5.5" W 2"

PHOENICIAN style Fused glass bead necklace with six white fang-like beads two tubular beads with colored dots and a large bearded mask face bead. This necklace came from Sadigh Gallery on 5th ave Ny Ny and listed as original Phoenician. Condition good with calcification, a few beads have minor chips. size 17" the face bead is 2.25" by 1.25" wide . We were not the original buyers so we feel the piece is old but cant say for certain that the attributed age from them is correct.

This excellent 19th century WKC (Weyersburg, Kirschbaum & Company, Solingen, Germany) Imperial Hunting Cutlass is 22 inches in length. The mounts are composed of beautiful brass throughout the hilt and scabbard. The pommel area has a fluted nut at the top center of the cap which acts as a threaded tang nut. The pommel has a smooth upper surface with curved edges featuring line decorated sides. The ferrule below is also lined, having otherwise smooth surfaces...

A lovely finial of an Eagles head, European, Gothic style, renaissance, c. 16th. century or earlier, mounted as a part of an attractive double iron coat hook and plate, dated 1823.

The substantial finial still with remnants of old gilt and the iron coat hook, finely dated and initialized in the late 18th. century manor. A nice marriage, probably made in the late 18th.-early 19th. century.

Wooden panel inlaid with mother-of-pearl, bone and ebony. It must be a piece of a very nice old Ottoman part of furniture. This type of decoration was made from the 16th century in Turkey at the height of the empire and is found today on very rare prestigious furniture...

Finely painted and early Indo-persian manuscript depicting a late sunset trip on the river just in front of a fortified city. A powerful man seated on the throne, perhaps a Caliph or Emir, in a horse-headed boat with Concubines and attendants. The other side with text. Finely coloured and gilt in parts!
