A very attractive bronze bull, standing on it's stout legs and with a oversize hump and pierced through the body. Highly unusual this detailed and in the impressive size!

Condition: Superb for type, with very nice metal and great mottled green patina.

A pristine Iron doorhammer in the finest Late Medieval / Gothic style, European 14th.-15th. century.

The hammer head in the shape of a deers head and the horn and shaft finely twisted, the nails for inserting it into a thick wooden door are still finely preserved as well.

A beautiful godess leaning on a collumn and with gown loosely covering her right leg and back. Wonderful elaborate hairstyle of the Severan period.

A very rare intact larger terracotta sculpture of a group of deities, Early Roman, ca. 1st. century AD.

She is standing semi-nude with a draped gown at her back and elaborate headdress. Below stands to smaller attendants, perhaps kids / smaller deities. Beautiful intact terracotta which should be researched some more.

Size: 22 cm. tall and wide as well.

Condition: Superb! Perfectly preserved with uncleaned sediments.

An early, and thus rare, intact pottery figure of a lady with raised arms, Greek, likely South-Italian workshop, ca. 4th. century BC.

Attractive mouldmade figure of a lady with raised arms and likely dancing; She has an alaborate hairstyle and is wearing a finely draped gown.

Size: 13 cm. tall.

Condition: Nearly Superb! Perfectly preserved, an unimportant surface chip to the glaze at the base.

Very interesting Roman pottery oil lamp with a Roman empress or high born lady on the discus, ca. mid 2nd. century AD.

The lamp can be dated quite accurately since the hairstyle of the lady is from the period of Hadrian-Antoninus Pius, so no later than 170 AD.

Size: 12 cm. a large and quite massive lamp.

Condition: Very nice and intact, with traces of corrosion.

An absolutely lovely large terracotta head of a female deity, perhaps Aphrodite/Venus, Hellenistic or early Roman, 2nd. century BC-1st. cent AD.

The unusual head is not hollowcast but solid and done in the fine Hellenistic or early Roman style. She is tilting her head slightly to her left and has an elaborate headdress.

Size: c. 10 cm. tall and 7 cm. wide and weighing 252 grams.

A larger for type Late Roman - Byzantine bronze bell, 4th.-8th. century AD.

Heavy walls and with finely patinated surface with green-brown patina. Very nice sound and would have been used for religious purposes.

A high quality depiction in terracotta of the naked and winged Eros standing frontally holding a torch in his right hand above his head, early Roman terracotta sculpture, 1st. century AD.

Greek terracotta figurine portraying a nursing woman. Such a depiction is considered a kourotrophor: a protector or nurturer of children. She is wearing a chiton and a veil and she is nurcing a naked boy. Likely Etruscan or Sicilian, ca. 6th-5th. century BC.

Size: c. 16 cm. tall and 8 cm. deep.

Condition: Choice and intact still with most of it's pigment preserved.

An ancient Jemdet Nasr cylinder seal from the famous Erlenmeyer collection.
This is a typical Jemdet Nasr cylinder seal of the "seated women“ or „pigtailed“ group and are often made of red or pinkish limestone. The amulet was bought from Galerie Günter Puhze and will come with their CoA.

Entirely hand-modeled terracotta lion resting with crossed forepaws. The elongated body with vividly rendered mane, the tail runs between the legs to rest on the back.
The missing head reveals the buildup of the figure. Excellent modeling.
The collector’s label is covered by a second one referring to Fischer’s 1941 sale and reads B1404-234-pe ist).
The ink inscription is illegible and indicates, as with other pieces of the collector, where the figurine was found...

Appears to represent the nude Adonis, his right leg slightly bent on the knee, standing on a raised pedestal, gazing down on an enamoring Aphrodite, with hair pulled back into a bun, her right arm bent at the elbow, and her left hand, grasping her long, flowing drapery.
