A large terracotta idol figurine of astarte, Syro-Hittite, dating to the mid-later period of the 3rd. millenium BC.

The pillar figure of Astarte with large round eyes and a bird-like presence. Angular shoulders and a monolithic body with her hands and delineated fingers placed over her breasts.

Interesting and impressive large stamp seal of the hemispheric form so popular in the late Ubaid/Uruk period in Mesopotamia.

The seal is carved with the image of a bird or animal headed demon walking. Really high relief and artfully done. Also interesting, the surface of the seal is drilled with small holes (not deep) as a sort of decoration.

An accomplished and very interesting larger stone cylinder seal, from the Uruk period of Mesopotamia, c. 3500-3000 BC.

The fine drill-style carved shows thick vertical bars, and some strange creatures behind and around these bars. Attractive high relief seal carved in a black stone, with loop at the top instead of the usual vertical drilling.
