This is an interesting silver alloy ring from the mountains of Pakistan or Turkmenistan. It has what appears to be a carnelian intaglio of some sort of 4-legged creature. Rings of these types are allegedly reserved for tribal chieftains or other persons of importance. This ring is fairly large measuring 3.9 cm across its longest axis. The diameter of the opening is 1.8 cm. This piece dates to either the late 19th or early 20th century...

A rare ancient agate bead made for wearing as a pendent or necklace. These beads date back to over 2,000 years. They have some kind of tiger influence in their shape and stripes.. Size: See last photo. Condition: Some incrustation, can be cleaned.

Quirky strands of bronze beads and Kushan charm in the shape of a Hindu Trishula (trident). I acquired these with a group of Kanishka coins that were found in the same place, circa 100CE. The outside of this antique perfume bottle, from Afghanistan, is covered with silver metal which has a detailed, etched and fire polished design. The bottom of the bottle reveals it lapis lazuli interior liner...bottle is approximately 4 inches tall

A lovely set of two different smaller weights, incl. an early 18th. century Toe or Chinte 2 Tical from Burma (31,7 grams) and a scarce very old Laotian of Lanna snake weight (8,22 grams), also from the 18th. century.

A large and quite scarce high tinned bronze opium weight of the 20 Tical, square base, c. 1750-1780.

Interesting since this weight does not have the usual lines for the issue but instead a fine engraving with dots. Very attractive.
