A very beautiful cloisonne candy box, uniquely colored in both red and yellow; both symbolical of Chinese culture. The collar and shoulder are decorated with the highly stylized bat or ruyi cloud pattern, as well as the surrounding portion of the handle knob, along with floral and tendril foliage. Good condition, with a few tiny nicks, but hardly worth mentioning, save for accuracy sake. Original patina and antique charm well preserved, size 18 cm diameter or 7" and 6 cm or 2.5" high...

A fine example of an early 20th century Chinese enamel cloisonné baluster form vase decorated with intricate foliate and vine patterns in an arabesque style design. The pattern, in shades of blue, is displayed over a pale turquoise ground accented by gold gilt base and neck. In excellent condition, it measures 12.5" high

A Chinese polychrome cloisonne covered box. The flowers and stylized character decoration in cloisonne, raised above a textured, patinated background which was not enameled. A thin gold wash remaining on the foot rim surface and evident on the cloisons surfaces. The work, patina and the slightly pitted enamels indicative of 19th century work. Chinese cloisonné and bronze figure of a standing cockerel. Flourishes of elaborate plumage are decorated with scrolling vines and tiny circles of colorful enamel on a turquoise blue ground. The feet of the rooster are connected to the lid of an oval shaped box which is decorated to match the cloisonné on the body of the rooster.

Two very rare and large Canton enamel vases on the original wooden stands with lovely rich patina and bright well painted scenes of the Chinese goddess Chang'e. These quatrefoil vases enables the owner to change the scenes at will by merely turning the vase to a different panel. This is rare to find in Chinese vases of the period. These date to the late 19th C. One of the stands are inscribed 'China' with a backwards 'N' to help authenticate period...

Museum quality piece. The front decorated with two dragons and the flaming pearl, the back decorated with bats, the standing rim decorated with colorful flower bands, both on the inside and outside. China, 19th century. Dimensions: 22 x 15,5 cm. Condition: excellent. A similar tray can be found in the catalogue of the opium exhibition at Kunsthal Rotterdam (collection F. Bertholet and C. Standing on 3 legs, the round body of the censor has two large wing like handles, a tall neck, and is topped with a domed lid. 4 pierced characters around the lid allow for incense smoke and a seated fu-dog acts as a finial and lid handle. Everything but the fu-dog finial and parts of the side handles is covered with cloisonné enamel. The most dramatic portion of the design is the large fu-dogs amidst exuberant peony blossoms...

A Chinese Canton enamel dish vividly panted with two cockerels beside flowers issuing from rockwork within a border of plum flowers, cracked ice, ruyi heads and waves, the reverse with three flower sprays. Qianlong, 18th century. 23 cms diam. One small area of restoration to the white on the back of the rim. Otherwise in good condition bar the odd usual stress crack.
