Antique Chinese large cloisonne censer. Standing on 3 legs, the round body of the censor has two large wing like handles, a tall neck, and is topped with a domed lid. 4 pierced characters around the lid allow for incense smoke and a seated fu-dog acts as a finial and lid handle. Everything but the fu-dog finial and parts of the side handles is covered with cloisonné enamel. The most dramatic portion of the design is the large fu-dogs amidst exuberant peony blossoms...

Charming Chinese antique cast iron and enamel plate painted with a little boy holding a large fish and lotus flowers in his arms, scalloped rim decorated with flowers, the bottom is enameled white with blue and red characters around the rim, blue enamel four character mark on bottom, early 20th century Republic Period. Antique Chinese cloisonne clock, made of bronze and inset all over with beautiful cloisonne, oval shape base and top, stands on 6 feet, surrounded with 10 cloisonne columns (5 on each side), original glass doors on front and back, clock face painted with tiny flower garlands, glass door in back reveals pendulum and mechanism which still seems to function smoothly, c. 1900. Large early Republic Chinese cloisonne lidded box on stand that could have graced a scholar’s desk. On each side is a 5 toed Imperial yellow dragon with the dragon on the lid chasing the flaming pearl of wisdom; all against a dark sky blue ground, the contrasting yellow stand really makes this piece stand out. The metal and wires are bronze gilt over copper. In excellent condition it measures 13.5" wide x 7" deep x 8.75" high

This rare cloisonné statue of a mythical animal is a late 19th century product. It is 10” high, 16” long and 8 ½” wide. According to Chinese legend, an animal that has a dragon head and tortoise body is called “BaXia” (or Bixi) and is the oldest of nine dragon sons. Supported on four bracket feet and finely enameled on each side with a group of Precious Objects with gold gilt accents. A marvelous oval shaped Chinese tortoise shell box with enameling featuring a bamboo and floral pattern with auspicious symbols on a carved top and the side bands. An interior mirror under the fitted lid shows some age related wear. The tortoise shell is in excellent antique condition, no cracks and there is no visible loss to the enamel. This is a rare treasure which displays beautifully. Measures 6 inches long, 5" wide, 1.5 inches high. Circa 1880.

Two very rare and large Canton enamel vases on the original wooden stands with lovely rich patina and bright well painted scenes of the Chinese goddess Chang'e. These quatrefoil vases enables the owner to change the scenes at will by merely turning the vase to a different panel. This is rare to find in Chinese vases of the period. These date to the late 19th C. One of the stands are inscribed 'China' with a backwards 'N' to help authenticate period...
