A celadon colored Chinese Peking Glass wine cup. It is molded glass, cut/grinded with a short carved foot. Chinese glass was largely used to imitate more precious materials such as white jade, lapis lazuli and other valuable minerals.

A very rare necklace of 78 glass beads (green, blue-green, opaque white & translucent). Five (5) of the largest beads have a dark caramel colored glass streaked/looped design. Period: Han Dynasty Size: Length = 20 inches (51 cm.) Condition: The glass beads have iridescence (seen under magnification) and some calcification due to long period of burial. Can be cleaned.

A Rare Han Dynasty large oval glass bead in shades of very pale blue to dark sky blue. Most of the front side of the bead has developed an intriguing beige patina. There are bi-toned (dark green & light blue) curvey line designs which are imbedded in the glass surface. The light blue line is now iridescent with age. The bead has two holes in the center for stringing.

Late Qing Dynasy (1880s 10 1911) century Chinese Peking glass seal in cylindrical shape. Wonderful simple piece appropriate for a scholar’s table, very pleasant finish to the surface. Transparent glass with the slightest pink tinge. The bottom is carved with two raised characters that can be translated as EASTERN GARDEN, red seal paste in the grooves. Imprint of the seal is shown on Enlargement 1. Height 2 3/8 inches, diameter 1/2 inches.

19th century Chinese bangle bracelet of classical shape made out of transparent aquamarine Peking glass. Excellent color, occasional bubbles inside the material typical for the period. Beautiful patina and slight wear to the surface, overall in excellent condition. Inner diameter 64 mm (2 1/2 inches), outer diameter 3 3/16 inches. Ensemble of very old beads, I found these in a small shop in Phrae, Northeast Thailand a few years ago. The green mottled beads are late Qing Dynasty Peking glass, the brown glass tapered tube bead emulating agate was probably made for the Funan or Chenla Kingdoms as I have agate beads from the same period which are pretty much identical, the white bead with orange splash is at least early Qing...

This brilliant turquoise dish is molded with a multi-lobed well and flat rim, the edge of which has been polished. The base is flat and carries an incised “China” mark at the center. It is in good condition.

Inside of ring has embedded pipe scale from the glass working process and exterior layer of glass has stress crack with small chip missing...stress crack would also be from glass making process... but ring has been stable for couple of centuries...ring was bought in South China late 90s along with several other rings (all stone and sold) but this one was so unusual that I kept it ...really is lovely

Chinese deep blue peking glass jar with carvings of chimeras crawling along the outside with branches in their mouths, over a crosshatch style background. Antique Chinese yellow-orange peking glass bottle of a gourd form. One of its sides is painted with a robed scholar sitting besides a bird's cage over enamel picture. The other side is painted with a man pulling a carriage for a beautiful woman and a young boy. Above this scene are some illegible markings in Chinese. Perfect condition circa 1920's Size: 4" height, 2.5" width
