Quirky glass ring emulating agate. This piece came from China but possibly is a trade object. I acquired this in a lot of other ancient pieces. A conservative dating to this is Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and guarantees it to this period. There is one crack as well as some bubble burst pitting on the surface. Outer D: 2.8cm and inner D: 1.9cm.

Shallow form with brilliant turquoise color. The cavetto is molded with thirty-two chrysanthemum petal-form flutes that appear convex on the back-side of the dish and encircle the flattened base. A “China” mark is needle-incised on the base. Very good condition. Acquired 25 years ago in North Carolina from an estate that was involved with the tobacco trade in China. It is rare for a large, delicate flat-rimmed dish, such as this one, to survive without damage...

A small Peking glass vase done on a white base with polychrome color enamel decorated on the surface. The vase is invoking fencai porcelains and the motifs and patterns used on the vase are often seen in porcelains. The vase contains two views of literati scholar like figures, one contemplating and another reading a book. Age: Qian Long mark but most likely 19th century.

Rare and beautiful group of 120 Han Dynasty glass beads: 118 small beads, and 2 larger beads. A range of color from green to yellow and other that are calcified white with age. Some round and some foliate shape. A range of size from 5/16" to 3/4" wide. Strung together for a total of approx. 20" long strand. Han Dynasty (206 B.C. to 220 A.D.)

Each bowl is set on a low, carved footring with a slightly recessed base. The rim gently flares and thin toward the edge. The interiors are fire-polished, and the exterior walls are hand-polished. Each is in good condition with some small bubbles visible.

This semi-translucent turquoise cup has a flaring rim and a very slightly recessed base. It is unmarked and in very good condition. Acquired in Japan in 1975.

Antique Chinese yellow-orange peking glass bottle of a gourd form. One of its sides is painted with a robed scholar sitting besides a bird's cage over enamel picture. The other side is painted with a man pulling a carriage for a beautiful woman and a young boy. Above this scene are some illegible markings in Chinese. Perfect condition

Chinese deep blue peking glass jar with carvings of chimeras crawling along the outside with branches in their mouths, over a crosshatch style background. The lid also has a miniature chimera amidst crosshatch background with a flower shaped finial. Artist's signature on the bottom.

Inside of ring has embedded pipe scale from the glass working process and exterior layer of glass has stress crack with small chip missing...stress crack would also be from glass making process...
but ring has been stable for couple of centuries...ring was bought in South China late 90s along with several other rings (all stone and sold) but this one was so unusual that I kept it ...really is lovely

This brilliant turquoise dish is molded with a multi-lobed well and flat rim, the edge of which has been polished. The base is flat and carries an incised “China” mark at the center. It is in good condition.
