Antique Chinese yellow-orange peking glass bottle of a gourd form. One of its sides is painted with a robed scholar sitting besides a bird's cage over enamel picture. The other side is painted with a man pulling a carriage for a beautiful woman and a young boy. Above this scene are some illegible markings in Chinese. Two strands of colorful and quirky glass bangle fragments drilled and reworked into beads. These are Persia, circa 6th CE - 7th CE which would make them late Sassanian Empire or early Islamic Era. Inside of ring has embedded pipe scale from the glass working process and exterior layer of glass has stress crack with small chip missing...stress crack would also be from glass making process... but ring has been stable for couple of centuries...ring was bought in South China late 90s along with several other rings (all stone and sold) but this one was so unusual that I kept it ...really is lovely

A very rare massive Bi glass disc, made in very dense fine Peking glass, imitation rock-crystal, Late Ming-Early Qing dynasty, 17th.-18th. century.

Impressive piece done in an achaeistic manor, in high relief depicting a Chilong / Lion, carved and finely polished in transperant glass.

The glass disc was made in a rivial period in Chinese art, where all sorts of ancient items in different stone types were imitated in glass...

Statue of a grinning demonic spirit or "yaksha", standing on stylised clouds, with an elaborate hairdo, wearing ribbons and a sort of "dhoti" with a belt decorated with a tiger head, holding with his left hand a dragon coiled around him. The statue aesthetic style is influenced by Tang dynasty art style. Glass, with remnants of gilding. China, 19th century. Height: 19.2 cm. Very good condition.

If one look at the details of this rare chrysanthemum shape dish this piece seems to be carved like we know this from jade pieces. Excavated together with Song Dynasty ceramic pieces and shards in Indonesia. Song Dynasty or earlier. Diameter 8,5 cm.

Very nice Imperial yellow hand carved Chinese wine cup. The bowl is accented with carving details in the stems and lotus areas for added appeal. The shape of the bowls reflects those porcelain counterparts that were popular around the late Qing and early republic periods. Condition is excellent without any chips, cracks, hairlines, or restoration. Measures 4.5 inches high by 2.5" in diameter. Stand not included.

1900's Chinese Rock Crystal Carved Foo Dog Lion on Wood Stand

It is 3.1 inches (8 cm) tall 3.7 inches (9.3 cm) wide measured with stand and 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) tall by 3.3 inches (8.5 cm) wide measured without stand. The rock crystal bird is 188.6 gram.

The rock crystal has and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).
