Late Qing to early Republic Chinese carved agate lidded vase. Colors include a multi color orange, reddish brown and natural tone that was carved with nice details and open work. Chinese Jadeite Jade Pipe end, top is greenish and lighter green toward the bottom, 1 3/4" high, 1 3/8" diameter-top with small hole and other side has large open hole to fitted into the main pipe. There are some wear marks around the top and bottom rim, otherwise the condition is good.

Chinese rock crystal scholar's brush washer. Carved into the form of a large heavenly peach with twisting leaves and branches bearing smaller peaches. A small monkey is carved hanging onto the edge of the large peach, in a playful frog like pose. The reticulated carved brush washer rests on two small carved peaches as the feet.

DESCRIPTION: A lovely white jade toggle (or pendant) with scattered light brown to grayish inclusions, strung with an orange amber bead on a cord. This toggle dates from the Qing Dynasty and is in very good condition; the jade surface is quite smooth to the touch and there are no chips to the jade or amber bead. Very fine Chinese antique belt hook carved in the shape of a knot with a butterfly on either end, made of beautiful mottled jade ranging from white to grey to bright blue/green, a silver fitting on the back was added later to convert this clothing hook to a pin or broach.

This very well carved white jade (nephrite) Lohan (Arhat) is an early 20th century product. It depicts a Lohan sitting on a rock, his left hand holds a wood stick he is using to clean his ear; his right arm is resting on the rock. The impression on his face is just interesting and realistic. It is 6 ¼” high, 5 ¾” wide and 3 ½” thick. Aside from natural blemishes, it is in great condition.

Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a pair of peanuts with leaves and vines growing out of their top, and a small chimera crawling along the bottom with its legs and tails pointed upwards. Peanuts are called "huasheng" in Chinese, and are considered a lucky charm for those wishing to have many children as "sheng" means "giving birth".
