19th century Chinese bronze fan shaped plaque with low relief depiction of a phoenix in flight over a latticed garden fence with pine clusters above and pomegranate bushes on rocks below. Very nice crisp work, beautiful patina. Set into original rosewood frame carved as scrolling vines with gourds and leaves. Loss to the upper right area, looks like an easy restoration if needed. An amusing and very rare lantern in cast bronze, decorated in light relief with stylized cicada in the archaic style. The rear part cut out by crosses the front part open for the use of candles or oil lamp. The cast iron is of good quality and the finish is neat. The patina is very beautiful and guarantees the age of the object. I think it's a Chinese work but I have a doubt, it could be Japanese. If it's Japanese it is much rarer although less fashionable than Chinese...

It is 4.65 inches (11.8 cm) tall by 1.8 inches (4.6 cm) wide. It is 69.2 gram.

Ancient Chinese horse snaffle bridle-bit, Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC).

Made of bronze bit with a mouthpiece composed of two canons connected in the center, each cast with a loop at both ends.

18th century Chinese bronze sculpture of a running boy holding a Precious Gem in his raised hand. Unusual image, wonderful casting and detailing - see his smiling face and knots of his robe. Excellent warm patina, 200 years worth of compressed dust on the surface, pleasantly heavy. Fixed to a beautifully carved hardwood stand. Very nice object for scholar’s desk. Height with stand 3 5/16 inches (84 mm).

Antique Chinese blue and white individual cloisonne salt and pepper in excellent condition. Original gold gilt still intact except for gold loss to the lid of the pepper. Dates circa 1900 and measure: Salt cellar about 1" high x about 1.75" diameter, pepper 1.5" high x 1.75 diameter.

A rare bronze (copper & tin alloy) incense burner in the form of a Qilin made in China during the late Ming period.

Condition: the cover is missing and there is a small hole in the base; there is copper oxidation inside the tail and there are traces of the original black lacquer coating between its scales and in some of the recesses.

Similarly inscribed bronzes and porcelain were first made for the Imperial court during the reign of the Zhengde Emperor (1506-1521) but this item was made later. The base carries a four character Xuande mark...

A Chinese Bronze Censer figure of buffalo and the figurine, Qing Dynasty. The figure of buffalo length approximately 12.6 cm and height approximately 7 cm. There's an old repaired at the one of buffalo horn. Decorated silver wire inlaid. The figurine height approximately 7.8 cm. Decorated silver wire inlaid. The figurine has few cracks around 1 cm (2 parts) and few small chips at the bottom.

Small Buddhist lion in almost solid cast bronze. The object is heavy. Beautiful active and fierce expression. Details meticulously chiselled with precision. It is probably work from Vietnam or South China. A very beautiful bronze patina announces a 19th century period or before. Underneath there is no fastening mark, so it was not the grip button of a lid. Not a weight either because part of the underside is hollow. Hight: 6cm. Fine condition.
