Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain melon shape jar, Ca. later part of 1800's, 11 1/2" high, 8" wide-widest part, 4" diameter-top opening, with overglaze decoration of Antiquities and Chinese style urn with flowers on stand. Smaller chips about 1/8" to 1/4" wide and frits on the top rim inside, and some shallow minor chips and stain spots on the bottom.

Diameter approximately 17 cm. Height approximately 8.5 cm. In good condition.

Antique pair of Chinese porcelain bowls, beautifully painted with three bats in yellow, red and blue, in the center of each bowl is a red longevity symbol, around the inside rim of each bowl is three more red longevity symbols and branches with peaches, the outside of each bowl is decorated with flowers, each is signed in red on the bottom with a six character mark early 19th century. Size of each: 5 5/8" wide diameter.

This is a very fine old Chinese shallow bowl made in the popular Butterfly pattern. It is in very good condition with minor wear and a tiny flea bite to the glaze on the rim. It measures 9 1/2 inches across and 1 1/2 inches deep.

A beautiful sapphire blue Qianlong period (1736-1795) small wasted and broad shouldered jar. The cobalt blue mimics the old heap and pile effect of the earlier Ming dynasty. The glaze has a silkly smooth texture typical of early 18th C. porcelains. The white patch at the neck area is a clay slip that was partially glazed and was not scored because of a slight depression in the affected area...

A small porcelain iron red overglaze water coup decorated with dragons set among scrolling clouds. The iron red style was developed in the Ming dynasty and in the Qing various styles were expanded. Additionally, with the continuity of the literati tradition, various objects were being produced and one was the water coup which is essential in producing ink for calligraphy. The water coup contains an inscription reading Da qing xiangfeng nian xin. (1851-1861). Size: height 2.25" diameter 2.8"

Chinese antique Blanc de Chine figure of the warrior woman, Mulan. She is standing with one hand raised. She wears a wide rimmed hat and elaborate armor. The figure is delicately modeled in porcelain and finished with a clear glaze. The last two characters, of the the faint impressed seal on the back, read Yi Ren. Republic Period. Size: 9 1/2" high x 3 1/4" wide

The Sage and fish are accompanied by a gold winged dog. There are three seals. The plate is bordered with three registers. It measures 11.75" wide by 9" tall. The base has four bats, one on each side. The edge of the plate has old fitters from age.

Very fine and rare KANGXI (1662-1722) Blue & White Porcelain Stem Bowl depicting foilage, butterflies, an egret, flowers and lotus with a center medallion. Flared rim with a Lingzhi head design. Double circles mark on base and surrounding the medallion. Excellent condition, no chips, hairlines or restorations. Size: H. 8 cm. x 18.5 cm diameter. Elegant proportions.

An important and rare KANGXI Period Blue & White KLAPMUTS Porcelain Bowl potted with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim. The exterior depicts a delightful landscape scene with children and maidens possibly at the "Yuan Xiao" Lantern Festival. The interior of the bowl has a scene with a playful boy throwing a good luck fire cracker in the center and is decorated with a Lingzhi flared border design. The foot of the bowl is also flared and has a double circle...

Blanc de chine vase with unglazed foot-ring. Mounted flower sprays on the body and 2 deer heads as handles to the vase. Signed by manufacturer as usual on authentic blanc-de-chine porcelain. A nice rare Chinese Five dynasty or later Yue ware covered box in lotus flower pattern moulded, still in good condition except not so bad glaze corrosion and fainting crack lines/ crazing over the cover area top that is not thru when contain water, probably firing crack or star crack caused by water pressure on the top cover, obviously not from the side up crack caused by hard knock , please ask for detailed pictures if needed as I can't explain it.

Description:
A charming porcelain statue was rarely found from an old collection.
In amusing subject of Mother and Child, this statue was put in the famous Chinese antique magazine Art and Collection - May edition, to celebrate the international Mother's Day of May.
It was well preserved without any crack-lines and was free from any restorations.
Of course, due to long time of burial, some abrasions were caused to the surface (see details)...
