Chinese Song dynasty conical form bowl with slightly flared rim covered in a pale blue-green qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops at the flat, unglazed low foot. Fine comb incised abstract swirling patterns are faintly visible in the interior. 6 5/8” diameter x 2 1/2" high. Circa 13th century. Good overall condition. There are two long old hairlines down one side of the interior and a single hairline with a fork on the other side (see closeup images)...

Nearly all the Ming Dynasty blue and white decorated covered boxes on the market are late Ming pieces of the Jiajing or Wanli period.

Pair of Chinese export Canton tea caddies in hexagonal form, blue and white with traditional landscape and geometric banding, 6 carved feet, glazed bottoms, original lids.
Measure 5" wide, 6 1/4" high and 3" deep, slight variation in sizes and shapes.
Surface of caddies is slightly dimpled with the "orange peel" appearance to the glaze, all decoration in under glaze blue.
Hexagon shape, with landscape scenes on front and back, hand painted with slight differences...
