A collection of a large porcelain peach and two citron (Buddha Hand) porcelain fruit. Such ceramic fruits were used to decorate a family alter when worshiping ones' ancestors. The peach measures about 4 1/4" long. The citrons measure 3 3/4" long and 4 1/2" long. The condition of all three fruit is excellent. All three pieces date to the late 19th Century. Antique Chinese porcelain cricket cage of a gourd form. Its lid has reticulated air vents, enamel peonies and Chinese characters and gilt edge details.
