Chinese blue and white fish bowl, 19th century. The bowl is in perfect condition. It measures approximately 10" wide, and 7" high.

A collection of a large porcelain peach and two citron (Buddha Hand) porcelain fruit. Such ceramic fruits were used to decorate a family alter when worshiping ones' ancestors. The peach measures about 4 1/4" long. The citrons measure 3 3/4" long and 4 1/2" long. The condition of all three fruit is excellent. All three pieces date to the late 19th Century. Chinese porcelain basin decorated with peony, phoenix, butterfly and other motifs in famille verte (wucai) enamel. Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Condition: there is one 1/4" chip on the rim, no other flaw other than this. Diameter: 11-1/2"; height: 2-3/4".

Transitional Period, Ca. mid 1600s

This jar is incised all around the body with a bird and floral scene. A vine design encircles the shoulder, bordered by double incised lines. There is a small flower sprig on two sides of the neck with a single incised line encircling just below the mouth. The jar is covered inside and out with a pale blue-green clear glaze, stopping just above the footring...

A large and richly imbued Chinese hat stand vase, extraordinarily detailed with fine painting that is rarely encountered in this quality. This vase is dated pre-1920. The palette is the much sought famille rose, along with more subtle hints of profuse colors. The condition of this vase is perfect, no hairlines, chips, or other damage. The painting is impeccable and the vase stands at an impressive 11.25" high by 4.75 wide at the mouth.

Blanc de Chine figure of Guanyin, seated with a boy holding a ruyi sceptre on her lap. Above a dragon among waves, with Longnu, the Jade Maiden and Shoukai, the Golden Youth to either side. Kangxi C1680. Height 22.7cm. Condition: vase to left of figure missing, two fingers chipped on Guanyin's hand. Usual firing faults.

A famille rose dish decorated with figure painting by famous Jingdezhen ceramic painter Fan Zi Ting. Early 20th century. The dish is in perfect condition beside one small chip on the tip of a flower and the fade gilt on edges. Please study photos carefully. Size: 11-1/2"X10-1/4"X1".

Pair of Small Blue and White Ko Sometsuke Dishes. Decorated in the centre with two birds and branches, the rim with butterflies. Chinese Tianqi C1621/27. Diameter 14.6 cm. Condition: very good, some fritting to rims, chip 1.5 cm to inside footrim of second dish. No other chips, cracks or restoration.

The motif of an elephant with a vase on its back has an auspicious meaning of "peaceful times (taiping youxiang 太平有象 - when there is peace, there are signs)".
