A unusual yellow six sided Nonya plate with a peach and bats for good luck.
Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware. Nonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: W. 15.2cm.

Two lids decorated in Famille rose colours in the Canton Famille rose or Rose Medallion style. Early 19th century, both with gilt berry handles. One lid is for a large vase or a soup bowl, ecuelle, and the smaller for a cup. Outer diameter of the rims that have to fit into another vessel is "2½/ 6,4 cm and "5½/ 13,7 cm respectively. Condition: repairs and a nick (cf pics).

Antique Chinese porcelain planter. Circular in form with foliate rim. The body of the planter is decorated with a colorful enamel scene of frolicking horses. A meadow landscape is beginning it's spring time blossoming of fruit trees and willows bear new leaves. Low mountains rise up in the distance and birds fly over a pond. Possibly painted by Lao Sholing who was famous for his depictions of horses...
Quite large, well potted and glazed with a nice crackled sea-green ( bluegreen ) Celadon glaze.

Chinese round porcelain container with a famille rose enamel design of an elderly man in a purple robe lounging by two vases as lucky bats fly overhead. The bottom half of the container is also decorated with red lucky bats. Bottom mark "JiaQing Nian Zhi".

Two of the segments show people in characteristic Chinese costumes and the other two are showing richly painted birds and flowers.
