A great large "sang de boeuf" (Oxblood) bottle vase. The glaze is somewhat crackled with a pattern of fine crackles. Green spots in the glaze can be seen from the coppar. A very nice moulded Wanli period (A.D.1573-1619) blue and white kraak porcelain dish. It stands on a very short footrim with a recess base and then everted upward into a U-shaped moulded dish. In the centre of the dish, it depicts a pair of deer under a tree with flowering foilage and rocks. On the cavetto, it is painted with a two tiered brush stroke. Such almost identical dish is illustrated in Maura Rinaldi, Kraak Porcelain, London, 1989...
