This middle or late 19th century Meiping shape snuff bottle has a white background and fine copper red crackles around the entire body. It is 3 ½ inches tall and 1½ inches on the widest part. The cap and spoon are later replacements. It is in excellent condition.

Fine quality carved Chinese snuff bottle; two panels of polychrome decoration featuring birds and florals; calligraphy to each side; natural material; good condition

This is a well-hollowed, Flattened, Rectangular with rounded shoulders tapering towards base, with long rounded neck , with a raised splayed oval recessed footing, snuff bottle. It is made from deep green with black vertical bands malachite. It is carved, in high relief, with a scene of birds in a pond amid lotus plants. It comes with a like material stopper.
