A stoneware bottle with an very decorative Guan-like glaze. Although the shape of this rare piece is clearly a Song Dynasty shape reference images from a reputable Chinese porcelain site point to a dating to the Ming Chenghua period. Since there is a copyright to this reference images I cannot show them here. H : 10,8 cm. This is a Song dynasty small green glazed earthenware ewer. It is melon shped with 2 small ears resting on the shoulder. The base show a very light greyish clay colour.

The dimension of the ewer is: the height is 10.3cm and the width is 10.6cm.

Generall in good condition with minor abrasion. No restoration, repair chip, crack or glaze chipping.

Fine and rare Longquan classic celadon bottle with an unusual shape- like a truncated meiping. The depth of the glaze achieves the ideal “jade like” quality that is much sought after by celadon collectors. The Ming attribution is conservative based on the inward beveling on the footrim and reddish slip visible on the glazed edge, but Yuan or Song cannot be completely ruled out...

A beautiful Tang dynasty changsa stoneware bowl with ruyi motive along the cavetto of the bowl and in the center with a dot with radiating lines towards the ruyi, all painted in green and iron brown colour. The 5 ruyi motives is design in such a way that no matter which angle you focus on, it is designed in a star formation. The changsa bowl stand on a short footrim with a recess base. The glaze stop about three quarter way down, exposing the light pinkish clay...
