All around is a lush growth of various types of plants and trees. A painting with seal of Zhang Daqian (1899–1983) inspired by a landscape painting by Kun Can (1612–1674).

An excellent Palace jar from the Kangxi period. A top quality design and in an ovoid shape with ribbed middle sections. Three lines in brown making the jar very sophisticated. The scenery showing two windows with a four clewed dragon and two windows with a carps. An excellent rare jar in a quality that even very few museums can show from their collections. The jar has been in the Wayland Wieslander Collection. Condition: The rim has a polished area (probably a restored ship)...

The center well depicts a scholar being served tea, three trapezoidal-shaped panels on the bowl's inner wall depict figures in various landscape settings, and the outside of the bowl is decorated with six additional panels of figures in various landscape settings...
Chinese Neolithic ceremonial harvesting blade (hu), made of semi translucent mottled green nephrite. Exceptionally thin and sharp cutting edge. 4 conical holes would have been for attaching to wooden handle on working versions of this type of blade. Likely from the Longshan culture. On a custom wooden stand. Age: (Circa 2,000 B.C.) Provenance: Came from an Estate of Philip Cardiero in Pebble Beach, CA.

A refined Chinese framed landscape painting showing a view during the evening. The tradition began during the Song Dynasty with literati landscapes. In the succeeding centuries, different artists produced these landscapes echoing poems by Li Bai or Guqin tunes. The landscape painting was done by an artist named, Tzuyue. A rare brushpot caved in coconut. On one side 1 temple surrounded by 1 dragon with a fish tail (Makara) and a fish. On the other side 2 dragons surrounding the sacred pearl which curiously has the shape of an inverted heart. We can see the same heart on a coconut box illustrated on page 96 of book 44 of the complete collection of the Palace Museum...

Chinese tomb pottery of standing guardian. Wonderfully modeled with flaming headdress, dragon form shoulders and breastplate armor, standing in relaxed pose atop vanquished foe. Expressive with bold expression, red pigment over white slip, black pigment on hair and face. Tang Dynasty (618-917 AD) Size: 22 1/4"High x 7 1/4" Width x 4 3/4" Depth. Signs consistent with age, old encrustation, restoration. From estate of a NY collector.
Antique Chinese porcelain brush washer in the form of an opening lotus blossom. On one side is a pair of bats and on the other lingzhi mushrooms. Delicately carved and glazed white with brown, orange and gold over painting. Very subtle purple and green high lights on the tips of the lotus petals. Antique Chinese round porcelain container with painted landscape scene of mountains with two sages sitting on a bridge. The lid is skillfully painted with subtle details. The edge is painted with an imitation of copper. The base has four characters painted in blue on the base. The interior is white. It measures 4" diameter 1"7/8" tall. Circa 1900.
Pair Chinese Hardwood Display Shelves/Stands, Ca early 1900's, 21" high, 31" wide, 7" deep each, very heavy dense Hardwood shelves with rounded corners, for the Scholar's display purpose for their precious small objects. Multiple shelves are between 4" to 10" high and 5" to 19" wide. It is very difficult to find a pair in this quality and condition. The weight is heavy and the condition is good.
Antique Chinese porcelain bowl, of an oval form with ribbed sides and a famille rose color palette. The yellow sides are incised with various Chinese inscriptions in blue glaze while several key characters are glazed in red. The foot is tall and deeply recessed with a red seal of Daoguang (1821-1850).
The bowl is placed within a dramatic metal display of a fleur de lys design, raising it on narcissus style legs.
