Old Incense burner of circular shape resting on three feet, decorated on all sides with dragons in relief. The two handles are in the shape of agressive dragons. Bronze, with green patina in the recesses. Reign mark beneath, probably apocryphal (Ming Dynasty, Xuande reign). China, 19th century. Height: 3 3/8" (8,7 cm). Diameter: 5 7/8" (15 cm). Very good condition.

Extremely nice Chinese silverwork artefact. A so called lock pendant. My field is porcelain and unfortunately I am not so familiar with silverwork. Although I am confident, that it is Quing dynasy, this extremely nice work looks a littlebit like it would be a Yuan Dynasty piece. Excavated at Sangihe Island north Sulawesi Indonesia. Small statue of a Judge of the Souls in Hell, in formal attire, sitting on a throne. Wood, with remnants of the original polychrome pigments on plaster. China, Ming Dynasty Period (1368-1644). Height: 7 3/4" (19,5 cm). Obvious signs of great age, otherwise good condition.

Small seal of square base, with a snarling tiger on its top. Bronze, with partly encrusted reddish-green patina. China, Ming Dynasty or earlier. Height: 2.9 cm. Very good condition.

Girdle ornament of rounded rectangular shape, with geometric design, of Han period style, around both sides. Light green jade, with soil encrustations on a few areas. Traditional brush and ink Chinese painting of birds done in the style of Jin Cheng 金城. This homage was done in the 20th century and is very attractively mounted a silk scroll. Jin Cheng travelled internationally and was a founding member of the influential Chinese Painting Research Society (Zhongguo huaxue yanjiuhui) that became later known as the Hu Society (Hu she). The writing at the top right is an apocryphal dedication- gifted to Yu Po 1907...

Fine Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish

This blue & white "Swatow" porcelain dish, or shallow bowl, was made during the Wanli Reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. It is coated in a thick glaze and decorated in underglaze cobalt blue. The decoration features a pheasant in a garden. The inner wall is undecorated and around the flat rim there are six roundels containing floral patterns surrounded by a repeating diaper pattern...

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, a charming little export ware teacup and saucer, late Kangxi to Yongzheng Period (1700- 1735), with loosely painted floral motifs both on saucer and tea bowl, all executed in an attractive blue.

A charming, diminutive Ming sculpture of a musician, measuring 4 inches in height. The face has been carefully modeled, as the photos will, hopefully, confirm. The glaze is in excellent condition. Please be sure to look at the last photo, as you will see that the head has been almost invisibly reattached.

A Set of Three Small Thai Market Chinese Canton Enamel Cosmetic Boxes 19thC The dark blue enamel with gilt decoration. The interiors with turquoise enamel and the bases with paler blue. Two boxes with composition finials. Chinese 19thC. Diameters: 6.2, 5.3 and 4.1 cm. Condition: some wear to gilding, minor small chips and a flake. The actual colour of the enamel is darker than in the images.

From our Chinese Polychrome Collection, a charming and unpretentious Famille Rose teacup and saucer, Qianlong Period (1736-1795), most likely late Qianlong 1760-1785, decorated in a delicate floral pattern in Famille Rose palette, with a Batavian Brown (iron oxide) dressing on the reverse.

Size and Condition: The saucer is 5 inches in diameter, the teacup 2 7/8 inches across, 1 1/2 inches tall. Small inconsequential nick to footrim of teacup essentially perfect.

This is a fine old Antique Chinese charger. It is done in a pattern rarely seen. Look close at the images and you will see the old orange peel surface texture. The charger has no cracks or chips. It does have a little wear to the gold but most of the enamels are fine. Overall it is in very good condition and in much better condition than most this age.. The Charger is heavily potted and weighs several lbs. Measures 13 inches across.

A Chinese White Glazed Snuff Bottle. Moulded as a reclining Dog of Fo holding a tasselled ball between its front feet. 19thC. Length 6.7 cm. Condition; normal light wear. Could do with a clean.
