Jarlets of this kind with a decoration of galloping horses are rare, because the majority of such jarlets do show a rabbit - or a deer decoration. Ming Dynasty, Swatow ware, 17th. century with an underglaze cobalt blue decoration. Very nice cobalt blue, very nice and glossy glaze. H: 7,4 cm. Diameter: 6,8 cm. Condition : No cracks, the rim and the unglazed footring bumped ( please regard the images )

Antique Chinese pair of tall hardwood stands, carved to look like they are comprised of stalks of bamboo. The tops show their natural woodgrain beautifully through the dark finish. The underside panels and connecting unit between its legs are designed like reticulated bamboo.

The cover decoration of this box, executed in an extremely nice cobalt blue, is well known as the central medallion of the inner decoration of some extremely rare underglaze blue Imperial Chenghua "Palace Bowls". It is a single stylished flower head, represented in a style resp. in a manner which we only do know from the Chenghua period. Ming Dynasty, Jingdezhen ware, 1465 - 1487. Diameter : 4,4 cm. H : 3,6 cm. Condition: Perfect.

One of the best ever seen Guandong ( South China ) Shiwan ware dishes. Seventeenth Century. Shiwan pieces like this do try to imitate the famous glazes of the Song Dynasty ( mostly the glazes of Jun or Jizhou pieces ). Diameter : 20,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.

The U-shaped body with broad flaring mouth supported on three tall splayed legs, cast around the body with a key-fret band and to the underside of the spout with a nine character Mark. Very nice patina. H : 15,8 cm. L : 17,9 cm. Condition: Perfect. Please see a similar example in the collection of the British Museum. Another similar example was sold at Sotheby's. Chinese Ming dynasty zhangzhou swatow large dish decorated with blue and white ship, whale, birds and flowers. 47,2 cm diameter. Dish in original good condition. Free from any repair. except has original fault from the kiln (please see on the pictures).
