Height: 30.2 cm. Very good condition. NOTE 1: As the title implies, ("Parvati Mukhalinga"), this bust was associated with the Linga of Shiva. The Linga is a phallic symbol, symbolising the power of Shiva.

19th century small votive Indian bronze sculpture of Ganesha sitting on a square base. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, and thus is invoked before any new undertaking. He bestows good luck on his worshippers, and is invoked in marriage ceremonies and in some forms of Tantric worship. This Ganesha has his trunk turned to the left, and it is strongly advisable for worshippers to keep left sided Ganesha statue at home...

Nicely cast ritual spoon, with a highly detailed statue on its top representing Hindu god Krishna standing on a stylised lotus and playing his flute, with a cow behind him. The spoon itself is decorated with two birds on its sides and a geometric design at its back. Copper with nice green patina. India, early 19th century. Height: 14.8 cm. The spoon is mounted on a custom stand to enhance its beauty. A rather rare piece of this size and condition.

Small bronze Indian sculpture of the elephant headed Hindu god Ganesha, known as the Remover of Obstacles, beautifully formed head and body with plumpness of arms and legs, one hand and crown missing, encrusted patina with hints of vermilion, 13th/14th century. Size: 2 5/8" high x 2 1/8" wide

Ca. late 1800s

This male figure, molded in the manner of the English Staffordshire tradition, carries a swooning lady on his shoulders, with a snake hanging from his neck. Facial features and clothing details are painted in colorful overglaze enamels. On the base is a factory mark in an oval cartouche. There is some wear, soiling, and minor glazing flaws, but no repairs or damages.

Beautiful 18th century black stone schist of vishnu with four arms. The arms hold a flower, a talisman with a 5 point star, a chile, and one hand is open palm outward with a dot in the middle. There are two attendants, one on either side. It measures 20" tall by 10" wide. Has metal base 4" deep.
