This is an amazing piece of Satsuma from Yozan. The vase stands 5 1/4 inches tall and it is covered with eye straining detail. It is better than the images show and in hand has a jewel like aura. Condition is excellent.

This amber Raku chawan was made in late Edo Period (1800-1868). Raku pottery is traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremony since as early as the 16th century. 19th century Japanese Satsuma belt buckle decorated with blooming chrysanthemums by a picnic cloth. Wonderful quality painting, generous use of gold enamel, in excellent condition. Metal backs are stamped with hallmarks in a form of torii (a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine). Size assembled 2.92 x 2 inches.

This is a fine Japanese Satsuma sake pot or small teapot. It is signed by Kinkozan. It measures 4 1/2 inches across at the spout. The handle is slightly tattered but the pot is in excellent condition.

A Japanese green glazed Awaji pottery water dropper in the form of a dog. The dog measures about 2 1/4" long x 1 1/2" high and dates to the early 20th Century. There is a small chip on the dog's lip; otherwise it is damage free. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

An antique Bizen ware figure of Daikoku, one of the seven fortune gods in Japan. Daikoku is holding a mallet (uchide kozuchi) which Daikoku often holds. On the other hand, he is holding a two legged radish.
